Rick, beautiful presentation. I like the simplicity of your structural system. Include your secondary framing and the sheathing (diaphrame) to show the lateral bracing of your scheme. I’m looking forward to Kurt’s comments.
Hi: this is OK, except we need to see lateral bracing in the longitudinal direction; also the vertical link at the tip of your arch needs to be rigid, a connection detail here would be required; KGB
Kurt, thanks for the review... I addressed the lateral bracing on the newer post dated, Thursday, September 13th. Could you please take a look at that and let me know your thoughts?
